Reporting to the Event and Sponsorship Manager, the Event Program Coordinator provides a pivotal role in the delivery of professional and polished content at all CEC events.

Key responsibilities of the Event Program Coordinator role are:

  • Responsibility for content delivery for all event programs
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to identify key issues and themes for content at events
  • Responsibility for website content management for all events
  • Create effective processes to manage the call for speakers for major conference programs including the Australian Clean Energy Summit, Solar Industry Forum and Wind Industry Forum
  • Work with the Event Administrator to provide support and back up across all CEC events

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of energy, renewables or technology industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Relevant experience in administration, ideally in events
  • Good organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, with good follow up and administrative skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet tight deadlines
  • Be willing and able to work flexible hours and travel if required
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce or similar
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
