Rob Grant, Chief Executive Officer
Pacific Hydro

Rob Grant was born in Melbourne. He earned Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)  and MBA degrees from Melbourne University and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University. He joined Pacific Hydro in 1996 as Project Development Manager and was part of the team that helped Pacific Hydro grow to become Australia’s leading renewable energy company.

During that time its market capitalisation grew from around A$10 million to the 2005 take-over value of A$780 million and current value in excess of A$1.5 billion. The Company owns, operates and develops wind and hydro projects in Australia, Chile, Brazil, the Philippines and Fiji. Rob became Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Hydro in July 2005 following its acquisition by Industry Funds Management, Chair of the Clean Energy Council and is also an IFM representative director of the Ecogen Energy Board.
