Eligability

Am I eligible to apply to the CWFA scheme?

Prior to applying, you should determine whether your organisation is eligible to apply for certification to CWFA. The CWFA scheme is primarily designed for planners, developers and operators of wind farms, and their main contractors (e.g. planners, construction and maintenance), where their activities interface with the environmental, social, amenity and stakeholder consultation issues, as defined within the Clean Energy Council Best Practice Guidelines.

For example, should your organisation be involved in any of the following, it is likely that the organisation is eligible to apply for certification:

  • Environmental management
  • Specialist environmental / amenity impact assessments
  • Stakeholder consultation
  • Planning and regulatory approvals
  • Construction management

Clean Energy Council will review the eligibility of all applicants upon receipt of an application form.

How do I apply?

After confirming your organisations eligibility to the CWFA scheme, complete the application form provided on this website.

Upon receipt of an application form, the Clean Energy Council will make a formal determination of your organisations eligibility. Should the Clean Energy Council confirm eligibility, an invoice will be sent requesting payment, in accordance with the fees outlined below. Upon receipt of payment, personal log-in details will be provided to the CWFA secure web-site to enable access to the CWFA tools and resources.

Any questions about the Scheme should be emailed to rjackson@cleanenergycouncil.org.au
