International Directorate

The CEC has established an International Directorate this expert group is chaired by Hydro Tasmania and meets on a regular basis

In order to make a difference at the UNFCCC meetings in Copenhagen, the Clean Energy Council’s International Directorate is to:

  • Positively position the CEC internationally with the Australian Government.
  • Enhance CEC international profile through:
  1. Establishing a common position for Australia’s clean energy industry providing a single voice to advocate the Australian clean energy position in international forums.
  2. Adding to individual companies’ international efforts through working collectively.
  • Align with CEC’s international partners (REEEP, ICSE members - US BCSE, UK BCSE and European BCSE; GWEC, Climate Solutions Businesses and others) and leverage of their international activities.
