Small-scale technology certificates (STCs)

Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) is an electronic form of currency created by eligible installations of Solar Water Heaters (SWH), Air Source Heat Pump Water Heaters and Small Generation Units (SGU) sized less than 100kw (small-scale solar PV panels, wind and hydro electricity systems).

The price shown on our homepage is for the STC spot price, based on most recent data provided to the Clean Energy Council by TFS Green. Note that this wholesale spot STC price may only be relevant to transactions above certain volumes.
