A series of engaging and topical events focused on the exciting opportunity and key challenges for battery storage in Australia. The series will include presentations from leading policymakers, regulators, analysts and industry leaders and include great networking with the leaders of the Australian battery storage sector.
The series will cover the crucial topics facing the sector, including market assessments, the evolving regulatory framework and consumer protections and the role battery storage can play on the electricity network.
Each event features a political address, keynote address, and panel discussion with a number of industry experts. Below is the synposis for the Sydney edition of the series.
Engaging and protecting the consumer
There is huge demand for battery storage from Australian consumers. This forum will share insights on engaging consumers and the appropriate industry and regulatory approach to ensure an effective regime to protect consumers. This will include understanding obligations on storage retailers, best practice for engaging consumers and the evolving regulatory landscape necessary to ensure industry credibility and consumer protections.
