power engineering and environmental and catchment management. We have offices in Hobart (head office), Melbourne and New Delhi.
Climate Change Consultant
Hydro Tasmania Consulting has positions available in Hobart and Melbourne in the Climate Change Strategies team.
Ideally the successful candidates will have:
- tertiary qualifications in engineering or science
- experience in a professional services or consulting environment
- well developed communication, report writing and client liaison skills
- experience working autonomously and the ability to lead small technical work teams
and expertise in some or all of the following:
- industrial energy efficiency auditing, opportunity assessment, and project implementation
- experience with Energy and Greenhouse accounting, reporting, including legislation, programs and international protocols
- climate change risk assessments and adaptation strategies
- experience with Kyoto Protocol mechanisms and projects
- carbon offsets, including verification and/or certification experience
- program development and facilitation (establishing targets, activities, evaluation, and reporting and facilitating behaviour change)
- sustainability reporting to GRI guidelines

Depending on experience and expertise, base salaries will be offered in the range of $63k to $102k, plus superannuation.
