Technical Sales - Solar Products - OTE 70-100K

Neco is Australia's largest green retailer and is expanding into Victoria. The continual expansion of the green marketplace means that we have an exciting opportunity for a technical Photovoltaic and Solar Hot Water coordinator to manage customer enquiries and installations end to end.

About you

The perfect candidate will have experience in technical Sales, preferably in PV and SHW. They will have experience providing technical information to customers, arranging installations and meeting all legal requirements.

You will be, presentable and super organised, with a can-do attitude and problem solving mentality. You will be a great communicator and also have some form of trade accreditation in PV or SHW.

Reporting to the management team the key responsibilities of the role include:
Responsibilities

  • Manage responses to customer quotation requests from web, phone and email channels.
  • Manage the sales process from quotation to supply to installation, including any required government form completion
  • Liaise with our current PV and SHW system suppliers and develop new relationships where necessary.
  • Answer technical PV and SHW questions from customers and support internal staff working on other sales channels.
  • Manage the pricing and supply models
  • Coordinate the installation of PV and SHW systems with on ground installers, owners and builders.
  • Manage our showroom presentation of PV and SHW to ensure that all pricing, rebate and product communication materials are of a high standard
  • Develop marketing media in conjunction with marketing department
  • Provide sales pipeline reporting and refine PV/SHW strategy with senior management
  • ork with the finance team to ensure that all customer and contractor payment terms are met.

Skill set requirements

Mandatory:
  • Technically skilled in renewable technologies with an accreditation in Renewable Energy, engineering or similar
  • Organised, rigorous and tenacious
  • Problem solving mentality
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Expert with the Microsoft Office products including MS Excel and MS Word
  • Deadline driven
  • Attention to detail

Highly Desirable:

  • Accredited BSCE/CEC PV installer
  • Experience selling renewable energy systems or similar
  • Ability to manage projects from start to finish, including the ability to delegate and follow up
