Small scale wind workshop

The Clean Energy Council would like to thank those who attended the small scale wind workshop. Discussions on the day were productive and will assist the Clean Energy Council is formulating a policy position on small wind in Australia. Further consultation will be sought from industry participants as part of this process.

Rod Menzies, Accreditation Manager, will continue progressing discussions regarding small wind endorsement and the development of Australian Standards for small wind products. A steering committee will be formed to assist this process.

Updates on these developments will be provided at a second workshop scheduled for Wednesday 23 February, 10am-12pm, Melbourne. Details will be provided closer to this date.
