If you’ve ever wondered which Federal MPs are neighbours with a wind or large-scale solar farm, you’re in luck.

The Australian Renewable Energy Mapping Infrastructure (AREMI) project can give you a breakdown of every wind and large-scale solar project across the east coast of Australia overlaid with electoral boundaries, so you can compare electorates and see who is batting above their average when it comes to major renewable energy projects.

The map has separate layers for federal and state electorates, and uses data from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) to show large renewable energy power stations. You can also check the location of fossil fuel power stations and other types of renewable energy projects.

The AREMI project is continually adding new and often previously unavailable information.

For more information or to view the full map, visit the AREMI website.
