Off grid
Off-grid renewable energy technologies are those that supply power in regions that are not serviced by the electricity grid.
The kinds of renewable energy technologies that could be used in off-grid locations include:
- Solar power
- Wind power
- Hydro power
- Geothermal power
- Marine power
- Bioenergy
- Hybrid (diesel/gas)
- Fuel cells
