The Adviser, Program Integrity reports to the Manager Program Integrity. The positions provides strategic advice on issues affecting the integrity of Solar Victoria's rebate programs, including the Solar Homes program, Solar for Business program and Home Heating and Cooling Upgrades program. The positions prepares formal correspondence to industry participants to promote consumer protections and compliance with the programs' rules and standards, including Solar Victoria's suite of Terms and Conditions and other documents that govern eligibility and industry behaviour. The positions also contribute to updates to the programs' framework documents and to developing policies to maintain the integrity of the programs.

The positions will contribute to and provide authoritative and timely advice, briefings and reports relevant to the activities of the Risk, Assurance and Standards division at Solar Victoria.

  • Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsTertiary level qualifications in a discipline such as law or public policy and/or equivalent experience is highly desired;
  • Knowledge of or experience working in a regulatory environment;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight time frames with minimal supervision, combined with the ability to work as part of a team;
  • Impeccable written communication skills.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 2 years. The preferred location for this position is Morwell (flexibility may be negotiated for a location of Melbourne CBD, where requested by the successful applicant).
