The Opportunity

The Contract Administrator is a pivotal role that supports site-based project delivery team and also the broader Asset Management and EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Office) teams from a contract management perspective including variations, claims and other activities.

On offer is a competitive salary package including a range of employee benefits, salary packaging and remote area benefits. This role will be 50% on site at Uungula with the remainder of your time from the Dubbo office or other CWP office, including Canberra.

Key Responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service and commercial support to internal and external stakeholders, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Assist procurement team as required including contract negotiations and drafting, and maintenance of procurement register.
  • Drive progress claims and variations and identifying margin enhancing claims and other recovery opportunities. Manage all documentation for reporting and claims
  • Analyse and manage contract risk and communicate to management team any activities outside of contracted scope.
  • Undertake quantity surveying regarding changes and delays to the project
  • Report progress and forecast information regarding contract variations
  • Prepare, verify and issue accurate monthly commercial contract revenue invoices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree qualification in a relevant field including quantity surveying, Legal, Contract/Commercial Management, Engineering, Construction Management and/or Project Management.
  • White Card, Drivers Licence
  • Extensive contract management experience on complex, high value infrastructure projects, preferably wind, utilities, oil and gas or mining.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • High-level organisation skills including well-developed priority-setting skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
