Construction is soon to commence on the Uungula Wind Farm - a development of up to 93 wind turbines and associated infrastructure located on Wiradjuri Country, 14 km east of Wellington, NSW, within the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone.

The Opportunity

Project Manager - Wind is responsible for the safe, timely and on budget delivery of the Uungula Wind Farm Project including management of key contracts and site teams.

This role will be fully site based on the construction site near Wellington, NSW. On offer is a competitive salary package and great employee benefits, including salary packaging AND remote area benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Ultimately, the Project Manager - Wind has overall responsibility for management of the construction, including the wind farm and interconnection to the grid. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring safety requirements are complied with
  • Project risks are identified and mitigated
  • Active management of stakeholders, contractors, regulatory authorities and project management team
  • Effective management of contracts, budgets and schedule and the variation and claims processes
  • The project meets all the CWP Renewables Governance and reporting requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • Driver's licence, White Card and tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Law or other relevant fields
  • A minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager with experience in state significant developments
  • Experience with management of contracts and variation claims
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills,
  • High-level organisation skills including a well-developed ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
