About the role

This is an exciting time for our Membership & Events team as we look forward to delivering ‘world class events’ for our members throughout Australia.

The Event Coordinator will create and manage effective processes for major conference programs including, the Australian Clean Energy Summit (ACES), Solar Industry Forum (SIF), and the Wind Industry Forum (WIF), WA Clean Energy Forum (WACEF), Energy Storage Forum (ESF) and other events as required.

Key responsibilities include

  • Coordinating the administration and delivery of key events and projects, including the Annual Clean Energy Council Awards to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with CEC objectives.
  • Maintaining content for digital platforms pertaining to event programs, agenda, and speakers.
  • Implementing and managing effective processes for registration, content delivery and speaker management for event programs.
  • Assisting in the promotional and marketing activities through EDMs and web content management.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and identify key issues and themes for content for events.

About You

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Event Coordinator who can bring strong customer experience expertise, event delivery knowledge and strong relationship management experience to support and deliver on innovative ways we engage with our members.

In addition, you must have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, well developed organisational skills, ability to problem solve, and to prioritise multiple and competing priorities to meet project deadlines.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, travel, and to work autonomously.

Desirable

  • Proficiency using systems including Salesforce, EventsAir, or similar events planning programs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing or business management.
