Enerfin is expanding their development team in Australia in order to pursue locally their pipeline of projects.

The Head of development will be responsible for continuing the development of Enerfin’s pipeline of projects in Australia and to manage the construction of the projects that reach this stage, as well originating new green field developments for wind and solar energy projects.

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager based in Spain, the person, will work closely with the Australian and Spanish teams to support development efforts in the country and see to their realization.

Main Responsibilities

  • To manage and push Enerfin’s current pipeline of renewable projects in Australia (wind + PV) as well as searching for new opportunities to be added to the pipeline (new greenfield projects or third party projects)
  • To lead and to coordinate the permitting process of the projects under development, creating strong relationships with all stakeholders involved in the development of a project: governments (at state and local level), transmission service providers, landowners, consultants...
  • To manage potential acquisition of third party projects at different stages of development
  • To support from a local perspective specialized teams located in HQs, mainly with the following activities: securing the sale of energy through PPAs (power purchase agreements), securing connection (support in grid process), determining project's CAPEX and OPEX, securing financing...
  • To manage Development Australia's team


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience, with preference in the renewable energy sector.
  • Available for short duration national and international travel
  • Driving licence
  • Proficient in English, knolwdge of Spanish an asset
