The Role

You will assist the team to help qualify leads, create opportunities and be involved in the development of new and existing businesses by identifying end-user leads, arranging appointments to meet and/or call potential and current customers & closing deals with deliverable customer savings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish & grow prospective customer pipeline.
  • Identify areas of demand, marketing channel partners and opportunities within the market to generate sales growth
  • Build & maintain relationships with prospective customers, existing customers and their key personnel
  • Educate potential customers about our energy plans and rates, and sign up new customers (inbound and outbound)
  • Provide admin & sales support to the Business Development Managers
  • Coordinate with inter-departments for the sales team and the customers
  • Prepare documentation for sales meetings
  • Create & assist Sales Manager with weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly sales reports
  • Coordinate quotes/ price comparisons & sign up customers (inbound & outbound)
  • Assist in the organisation of events and product exhibitions
  • Maintain a cheerful attitude while answering and addressing customer or sales team needs
  • Answer customer inquiries promptly to resolve issues while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as requested by Management which could include administrative duties

  • Strong sales experience in a B2C environment in any retail and/or solar industry background (this will be an advantage!)
  • Passion for sales, sales support, customer service & administration
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to build and manage strong customer relationships
  • Excellent presentation & negotiation skills with the ability to promote the company and influence others
  • Confident and dynamic personality with positive outlook

Qualifications

  • Reliable vehicle and open licence preferred (not mandatory)
  • 2-3 years' prior sales experience preferred
  • English speaking (additional languages will be a bonus

KPI’s

  • Ability to meet deadlines and on budget
  • Punctuality, personal presentation and workplace attitude
  • Lead generation/New leads/Opportunities, lead conversion rate and lead close rate
  • Sales volume, existing client engagement, customer relationships and ability to maintain strong relationships
  • Pre-set Quarterly KPI’s, set and agreed upon with National Sales Manager and/or CEO
