The Project Manager will use their project management/construction experience within the Operations team & support the Project Director in overseeing the delivery of electrical, energy, civil and renewable projects based in NSW, ensuring that these projects are delivered on time, within budget & to a high standard of quality.

Reporting to the Project Director, this role will be a key contributor in:

  • Overseeing all HSE requirements including SWMS review, development of HSE plan & conducting audits as required.
  • Organising initial surveys, site access, site logistics & set up of site facilities alongside the Site Manager;
  • Attending/chairing project control meetings including design reviews & site walk-throughs;
  • Preparing project finance reports & cashflows;
  • Ensure the project is being installed at a high standard, is delivered on time & within budget;
  • Ensure subcontractor accountability for HSE matters, delivery timeline & quality workmanship;
  • Preparing scope of works/documentation for subcontractors;
  • Updating and submitting construction schedules & reports to the client;
  • Understanding and enforcement of contract & technical specifications;
  • Control and review of onsite checklists and commissioning;
  • Organisation of revised structural and electrical designs as required;
  • Organisation and implementation of DNSP requirements as required;
  • Any other duties as requested by the company.

The role will ideally suit an experienced Project Manager with a positive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will hold the following qualifications, experience & attributes:

  • Qualification in electrical trade/project management/engineering or similar discipline
  • Ideally 5 years’ experience in construction/renewable energy/project management/engineering or similar
  • Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and large-scale solar projects
  • Sound scheduling/finance experience
  • Confident and competent using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Superior attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills and capabilities
