Reliability Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)

The Role

The Reliability Engineer plays an important role in insuring the reliability and maximum efficiency across all our renewable energy assets such as wind farms and solar plants. As part of an Asset Services team of four you will provide engineering expertise to assist maintenance activities and resolve technical issues. Other duties include:

• Provide engineering support to all operational assets.
• Manage reliability engineering programs across all operational sites.
• Undertake Root Cause Analysis investigations on failed or faulting equipment.
• Analyse plant performance and maintenance data to address the issues and maximize efficiency.
• Review operational data for purposes of trend analysis, fault finding and continuous improvement.
• Undertake engineering reviews of retrofits, upgrades and asset changes at all operational sites.

About You

• Must have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical competence in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Relevant experience working in a Reliability Engineering role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (renewables, energy or power sector experience will be considered highly but is not essential).
  
• Proven abilities in root cause analysis and highly developed problem solving abilities.
  
• A confident approach to communicating and proven ability to positively influence other technical professionals.
  
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to sites.
