About You:

As a civil engineer, you are an experienced project manager with a proven track record of delivering high risk, large scale, complex civil construction projects. You have solid stakeholder relations and contract management. With the ability to influence at the senior level you have excellent communication skills along with the capability to lead and motivate a team of experienced professionals. Problem solving skills, planning / scheduling and manage priorities along with strong business acumen are all critical to your success.

About the role:

You will be working on critical infrastructure projects to ensure the longevity of Hydro Tasmania’s civil assets. Hydro Tasmania is the largest dam owner in Australia with 54 large dams as well as a diverse range of civil infrastructure including dams, roads, bridges, tunnels and underground caverns, canals and flumes, pipelines and penstocks and more. Working with the broader Civil Assets, Commercial and Production Operations teams you will provide high level project management expertise and leadership in the delivery of major projects across the Assets and Infrastructure portfolio.

You will be pivotal in sustainable and commercially responsive asset management through the successful delivery of large projects, ensuring the safe and timely achievement of required outcomes to agreed budget and required quality. In addition you will be required to manage the development of contract documentation, negotiation and execution of works, along with driving a true sense of accountability for safety of self and others within the team.
