This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the risk management program for one of Australia’s most ambitious and transformative renewable energy programs.
Solar Victoria is a division of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and is at the forefront of an ambitious and transformative renewable energy program bringing thousands of solar and energy efficient systems and vehicles into Victorian homes and small businesses.
Experienced risk managers will thrive in this fast-paced project environment that will test their ability to influence management decision-making through powerful risk reports. The successful candidate will ideally have strong risk management experience, a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail and a mindset for constructive critique and strategic thinking along a range of complementary disciplines including safety, quality, finance and the renewables industry.
The Senior Risk Adviser has a unique role in guiding the design and delivery of a series of high-value high-impact projects to the Victorian community. The role will provide informed and in-depth risk management advice, guidance and reporting to senior leaders. The role will also design and deliver the process for integrating project risk profiles into the broader suite of enterprise risk management activities including oversight, monitoring, and reporting.
