    THE ROLE

    As the Software Engineer you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and writing code and developing tests and testing the code and deploying the code for battery management, automation, and data analysis. The primary programming language is Python and for embedded applications MicroPython, you will be required to use PyCharm, pytest, BitBucket and Jupyter Lab. For battery management software, written in MicroPython, and for automation and analysis software, written in Python, you will be required to work from the existing code bases, make improvements to the code, and modify the code for new products.
  • Analyse data, deploy code and keep track of deployments. 
  • Use professional practices to ensure quality based round PyCharm, pytest, BitBucket and Jupyter Lab. 
  • Write tests for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability. 
  • Test software, including embedded software, development methodology in an agile environment. 
  • Expand existing software to meet the changing needs of our key demographics. 
  • Focus on creating fault-tolerant programming. 
  • Developing and executing project plans 
  • Creating technical specifications

    To be successful in this position you will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar related field.
