Wholesale Solar Sales Representative / Inbound Sales Representative

Cobalt Solar, a leading manufacturer of innovative and robust solar system components, is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. With 15 years of experience in the Australian solar industry, we are dedicated to providing exceptional products and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders.
  • Ability to influence clients' buying decisions.
  • Understanding and interpreting technical requirements.
  • Providing technical information.
  • Account Management - building long-term relationships.
  • Responsible for overseeing and auctioning inbound sales enquiries via telephone, email, and social media.
  • Follow-up on leads generated by incoming client contact and other Cobalt team members.
  • Review and generate sales and Client reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data privacy.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Client Relationship Manager (CRM).
  • Develop and Build customer accounts.
  • Identify sales opportunities.
  • Promptly respond to sales enquiries and leads.
  • Prepare quotes and provide supporting information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate sales team operations.
  • Stay informed with industry trends and products.
  • Refer end-users to most suitable distributor/s.
  • Help clients achieve their resale goals.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a solar sales or customer service position.
  • Work towards Cobalt Solar’s objectives.
  • Aptitude for understanding and meeting clients new and diverse requests.
  • Proficient in learning new software packages.
  • Social media experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across various platforms including E-meetings.
  • Ability to manage and plan own workload and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent time management and accountability.
  • Professional and respectful manner.
  • Ability to sell based on product advantages and value.
  • Long term outlook.
  • Passionate and friendly demeanour.
