About the role:

Based in Sydney or Brisbane, you will manage late stage development of major wind farm projects, preparing them for FID and driving financial close. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders including senior management, landowners, government agencies, financiers, engineers and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes.

Duties include:

  • Manage late stage development tasks for large wind farm projects• Provide all information to senior management to support FID• Drive financial close of projects.
  • Support senior management with commercial negotiations.
  • Help manage relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, planning departments, NSP's & AEMO, off-takers, financiers and landowners.
  • Manage internal interface with environmental planners, grid connection managers and community engagement manager.
  • Help build bankable financial models for projects.

Skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification within relevant engineering, planning or commercial discipline.
  • Experience developing large scale renewable energy projects within the Australian market.
  • Good understanding of dealing with local councils, landowners and relevant federal government authorities.
  • Good understanding of what facilitates a positive investment decision on a renewable energy project (grid connection, yield, off-take, community support etc.)
  • Passionate about Australia's renewable energy future.
