2022 Call for speakers

The Clean Energy Council is calling for industry experts to present at our events in 2022.

Please note, these events are currently scheduled to be delivered as a hybrid events around the country. The Clean Energy Council will continue to closely monitor government and health agency advice in the leadup to the events and strictly follow COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety of all in-person attendees.

Applications to present at the Wind Industry Forum, Large-scale Solar Forum, Australian Clean Energy Summit and Energy Storage Forum in 2022 are now closed. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

The Clean Energy Council is committed to presenting gender diversity across all sessions and event programs. We especially encourage you to circulate this opportunity to women in your network and internally within your organisation.

Submission requirements and recommendations

To complete a submission, you will be required to provide:

  • contact information and headshot
  • abstract title
  • your presentation theme
  • a presenter bio (max 100 words)
  • abstract (max 250 words)
  • answer to - What are the key learnings for the audience from your presentation?
  • answer to - What is new and innovative about your presentation?
  • agree to terms and conditions.

The Clean Energy Council receives an overwhelming number of submissions to speak at our conferences. To ensure your submission stands out, please take into consideration the following:

  • Sales and promotional-based presentations will not be considered.
  • Standard presentation duration is 10-15 minutes. Please ensure you narrow your focus in a way that will allow you to cover your key points within this time frame.
  • Consider what is new, different or innovative about your presentation and make this your focus in your submission. Avoid submitting topics that have been heard before at this or other conferences.
  • Avoid broad, high-level topics. Detail what it is specifically you would like to speak to our audience about.
  • You or your organisation are welcome to submit multiple abstracts if you have more than one topic you would like to speak to.
  • If you would prefer to chair a session rather than present, please note this in the abstract session.

Please note, opportunities to present at the WA Clean Energy Forum will open later in 2022.
