This page contains answers to some common questions about the Clean Energy Council's online events.
How do I register for an event?
All Clean Energy Council events are listed online on the Events page. Each event has an individual website with information about the event program, date, time, pricing and registration.
Are there discounted tickets?
We offer discounted rates for Clean Energy Council members, CEC-accredited installers and designers. Government and not for profit employees, and current students including apprentices are also eligible for special pricing, email [email protected] with proof to receive the discount code.
Please check the options for each event to find out more about pricing.
How do I know if I am registered?
You will receive an automated email confirming your registration from [email protected] each time you register for an event. This email contains your registration details.
These emails sometimes get filtered into your junk inbox. Please check your junk folder for an email from the Clean Energy Council.
Did someone else purchase the ticket on your behalf? It’s possible the confirmation was sent to their inbox.
If you have checked the above and you still can't find the email, reach out to [email protected]l.org.au to have the email resent.
Please note: in the hour leading up to the event and once it has started, a reply to your email will be delayed.
How do I log into the virtual portal?
Before each event, you will receive an email from [email protected] with a link to the online portal and your login details, including a username and app pin.
We recommend logging into the portal 15 minutes before the event beings to familiarise yourself with its features before the sessions start.
Please note: Your app pin will be different for each event.
I can’t find the email with my log in details
Confirmation emails can often be sent directly to your junk inbox. Please check your junk folder for an email from the Clean Energy Council. The email will contain an orange join button and your log in details for the event.

I'm having difficulty logging in
Are you using Google Chrome?
The Clean Energy Council's event portal is optimised for Google Chrome. For the most seamless experience, we recommend using this web browser. Download here.
Have you checked your firewall settings?
Are you on your office network? Some networks have firewalls that prevent these types of connections. One way to test this is to connect to a different network, try using your personal mobile phone’s mobile hotspot. If you can use your microphone and camera, this will probably mean your office network is causing the issue.
My microphone and camera aren't working
This is a commonly asked question and there are a few different reasons why this might happen. Remember, the event portal will run a device check when the attendee first logs in to the portal. If the browser hasn’t been enabled to allow an attendee’s mic or webcam it will prompt them to allow it.
Refresh your portal
Check your camera and microphone settings
Try turning it off and back on again
How do I add to or change my profile?
When you first sign in to the portal, the check-in window displays. This is where you can update your profile, including a head-shot, and other contact details.
To edit or change these settings, select your initials or profile photo at the top right of the screen and select My Settings.
Why can’t I see my name or details in the Meeting Hub?
In the Meeting Hub users are not able to see their own profile.
To check to see if you have opted into the Meeting Hub, select your initials or profile photo at the top right of the screen and select My Settings. Scroll down to the Meeting Hub heading to review the options you've selected.
I’m waiting in the queue to visit with an exhibitor and nothing is happening
Once you are in the queue you will need to wait for the exhibitor's presenter to bring you into the presentation. They may be wrapping up a current presentation so you may need to wait for a minute or two until they are finished with the previous person or group.
How do I make sure the speakers can't see or hear me?
Speakers cannot see or hear attendees during sessions.
How do I access recordings?
Recordings of the sessions will be made available to attendees through the event portal, within five business days of the event. You will receive an email notifying you when they are available.
How do I get my notes from the portal?
Any notes that you take throughout the event can be exported by selecting the export icon in the top right of the screen near your initials or profile image. In addition, you can also export the shared details of the connections you made via the Meeting Hub.
