Clean Energy Council accredited persons must adhere to the Accreditation Code of Conduct and Accreditation Terms and Conditions.

David is an applied economist with senior public sector, academic and consulting experience. He has had considerable involvement and leadership roles in the practical application of prices regulation, competition and consumer policy. He has demonstrated an ability to effect change and achieve high performance in significant organisations. In January 2009 he was appointed a member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his contribution to consumer policy and its administration in Australia.
Dean has worked in energy and consumer policy advocacy for the Victorian Council of Social Service for more than a decade. He joined Renew in 2016 as Senior Energy Analyst. In this role, he undertakes policy analysis and advocacy in national and state energy markets, with an emphasis on making the energy system work better for residential consumers while also reducing its environmental impact. Core objectives of this work include enabling greater integration of renewable energy resources into energy grids at the national, regional and local level; representing households’ interests in tariff reform and the development of data sharing frameworks; and promoting informed consumer choice and robust consumer protections in emerging and evolving energy markets.
Debra is a legal and regulatory consultant who previously worked for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and in private practice as a lawyer. She has a strong background in administrative decision making and industry codes of practice and has worked closely with a range of regulators including the Office of Australian Information Commissioner, Environment Protection Authority Victoria and the Essential Services Commission.
Debra has a Masters of Law, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Melbourne. She holds a legal practising certificate.
Geoff specialised in solar (PV) energy in the final year of his electrical engineering degree in 1981and then obtained his electrician’s licence. He joined BP Solar Australia in 1987 and two years later started his own company on the south coast of NSW, where he designed, installed and maintained off-grid power systems. In 1998 he co-founded the Global Sustainable Energy Solutions (GSES) and is still managing director.
Geoff has played an active role on committees within the various Australian solar and sustainable energy industry associations since 1991. He has been a member of Standards Australia's working groups since the mid-1990s and a member and later the Chair of the Renewable and Sustainable Technical Advisory Committee, which oversaw the ongoing management of renewable energy training units in Australia. Geoff has been a CEC-accredited designer and installer since 1994.
