The Approved Solar Retailer program has now been replaced by the New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) program. A summary of the ASR program will be posted on these pages soon.
To become an Approved Solar Retailer you must pay an initial application fee and an ongoing annual fee. The annual fee can be as little as $750 per year for small businesses and increases on a sliding scale based on the size of your business.

If your application is successful, you will need to pay your first annual fee once your application is approved.
The minimum fee is $750 and the maximum is $7500 + GST.
The fee is calculated at the rate of $1.00 per kW of solar installed by the applicant in the past 12 months.
A company with franchisees will only pay a maximum fee of $7500.
