The Clean Energy Council is calling for speakers to present at this year’s 2018 Australian Clean Energy Summit (ACES) in Sydney, at a time of unprecedented growth and opportunity for the industry.

Clean Energy Council Executive General Manager – Industry Development, Natalie Collard, said this year’s event at the end of July will capture the excitement of  the remarkable evolution of renewable energy and energy storage in Australia and across the globe.

“ACES has sold out for the last two years, and we’re excited about presenting an inspiring line-up of key industry players who will energise senior decision-makers, financiers and government representatives with the power of their ideas,” Ms Collard said.

“We are putting the call out for speakers who will offer something genuinely different and insightful. With so much discussion about secure, clean and affordable energy already in 2018, our industry is playing an essential role in leading the transition of the energy sector – and reaping the benefits of the huge economic opportunities this is already creating.

“In 2017 we were fortunate to have Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce, Opposition Leader Bill Shorten and Greens Leader Richard Di Natale giving attendees an audience with some of our nation’s key political decision-makers.

“This year we are planning to go one better, offering dozens of leading local and international speakers, top business executives from across the industry and beyond, and some interactive sessions for something a bit different,” she said.

The Australian Clean Energy Summit will take place from 31 July – 1 August 2018 at ICC Sydney. If you are interested in speaking, you can make a submission via the summit website at cleanenergysummit.com.au/speakers
