Welcome new board members

The Clean Energy Council Annual General Meeting was held today, with a great turnout of CEC members to hear about our progress over the past year.

Another year of strong industry growth translated into a growth in the size and output of the CEC, allowing the organisation to add additional customer-facing resources to the accreditation, membership, approved solar retailer and products teams.

Members today voted for the following CEC Board appointments.

CEC Board appointments

Five new or returning directors were appointed to the board at this afternoon's Annual General Meeting:

  • Jack Hooper, GEM Energy
  • Karen Gould, Palisade Investment Partners
  • Maria Cahir, Tesla
  • Matthew Rebbeck, RES Australia
  • Rachel Watson, Pacific Hydro

These five directors will join existing board members Alex Beckitt from Hydro Tasmania, Warwick Johnston from Sunwiz, Jenny Paradiso from Suntrix and Cameron Garnsworthy from juwi Renewable Energy. The CEC Board thanks outgoing directors Darryl Flukes and Charles Davis for their hard work while serving on the CEC Board. The CEC would also like to thank Megan Wheatley, who recently resigned from the CEC Board.
