South Australia’s Green Paper sought feedback on a range of areas requiring attention in the transition to net-zero.
The CEC provided insight into the current landscape from different parts of the industry and the policy needed to overcome the immediate challenges but also policy beyond the present-day hurdles and for our future net-zero Australia.
The submission outlines key issues for South Australia’s attention in rooftop solar PV, storage, hydrogen gas, circular economy, transport, and education and workforce. It highlights the need for nation-wide cohesiveness to ensure for a successful comprehensive energy transition policy for the next three decades.
