BUILDING TRUST, UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORT FOR CLEAN ENERGY

Clean energy works for Australia.

Clean energy projects succeed when local communities can participate and share in the benefits.

We know that residents, landholders, and members of the broader community may have genuine questions and feel uncertain about local renewable developments.

The Clean Energy Council has developed a range of resources to help build understanding, answer questions and debunk myths. Check out our resources.

Energy Fact Check supports informed public discussion by addressing mis- and dis-information and providing balanced and evidence-based answers to common questions about the transition.

The Best Practice Charter for Renewable Energy Projects has seen more than 50 Clean Energy Council members commit to engaging respectfully with the communities in which they plan and operate projects, to be sensitive to environmental and cultural values and to make a positive contribution to the regions.

Our fact sheets provide evidence-based insights on the key issues Australian communities care about regarding renewable energy projects.

Join hundreds of clean energy professionals completing our self-paced, online courses that support social performance.

CLEAN ENERGY, JOB READY

Building a safe and skilled clean energy workforce

Australia needs 40,000 more workers by 2030 to support the transition to clean energy. Clean energy, job ready helps supports that goal through the establishment of consistent training and skills requirements.

For over a year, we have been working with industry in Victoria and Queensland to define the common training requirements for a safe and competent workforce on clean energy projects.

Clean energy, job ready offers employers tools to help plan and manage workforce compliance easily and provide clear pathways for workers and students to build their careers in renewables, and enabling them to transition seamlessly across clean energy projects.
