As part of our commitment to championing gender diversity in the renewable energy industry, the Clean Energy Council’s Women in Renewables program is proud to present a new opportunity for Clean Energy Council member companies to sponsor a student or recent graduate (not currently employed in the renewable energy industry) who identifies as a woman to attend one of our major conferences.

This is a great opportunity for member companies to help support and develop our growing industry by attracting new talent and will provide a fantastic professional development opportunity for a young woman who may not otherwise be able to attend the conference.
Attending an industry conference is an excellent opportunity for a student to learn from the experts within the renewable energy industry, be exposed to our member companies and learn about the exciting opportunities the clean energy industry has to offer.
The sponsorship package includes the Clean Energy Council’s Discover the Renewable Energy Industry online course. The aim of this is to build a student’s knowledge base so they can reap the full benefit of attending a conference.
The Clean Energy Council will ensure the sponsored ticket is provided to a student or recent graduate who is looking to get into the clean energy industry who has registered interest in attending the event.

The benefits of sponsoring a student are outlined below.
To qualify for a ticket to one of the above events, applicants must identify as woman and be a student at or recent graduate of an Australian education provider. The successful ticketholders must not be employed in the renewable energy industry and will be willing to provide a testimonial which will be used in promotional activity for the Clean Energy Council and the member company responsible for sponsoring the ticket. Please note, travel to and from the event must be organised and paid for by the student.
