It is essential that Clean Energy Council accredited installers adhere to the current and relevant standards for the design and installation of solar and battery storage systems.
Standards can be purchased from a few websites, view the list.
It is the responsibility of all accredited installers to advise the owner of a system if it does not comply with the current standards. This could be as a result of weathering, damage or an upgrading of the standards themselves.
We have developed a series of practical guidelines to assist CEC-accredited installers and designers interpret some of these standards.

It is a good idea to read the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. This act applies to most aspects of solar businesses including advertising and consumer transactions.
