Registrations are now open for the Wind Industry Forum 2016, Australia’s leading technical event for wind power specialists.

Clean Energy Council Policy Manager Alicia Webb said the Melbourne event on 17 March will ensure all industry professionals attending will finish the day at the absolute top of their game.

“This is set to be a very busy year for the sector, with a large number of wind turbines needing to be built to meet Australia’s Renewable Energy Target (RET) by the end of the decade,” Ms Webb said.

“The Wind Industry Forum is aimed at industry specialists and will cover the latest developments on subjects such as noise monitoring, planning, wind measurement, electrical connection, industry capability and much more.

“The technical sessions will be followed by networking drinks, enabling those attending to refresh their professional contacts and create valuable new ones.

“This is a passionate industry which is always trying to do things better. The two previous editions of the event have sold out, and we anticipate strong interest this year as well. Book now to secure your seat and we will look forward to seeing you there in March,” she said.

The Wind Industry Forum will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 17 March 2016.
