The Clean Energy Council Clean Energy Careers Hub (the Careers Hub) is an online job board to enable employers to advertise employment opportunities for roles relating to renewable energy, renewable hydrogen or energy storage and includes roles that directly support the industry such as law, finance, marketing and sales.

It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure that any job listings submitted to the Clean Energy Council (CEC) for inclusion on the Careers Hub comply with these terms and conditions. By submitting a job listing for posting on the Careers Hub, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in a job listing being rejected or removed from the Careers Hub.

Advertising a job listing on the Careers Hub does not imply endorsement by the CEC of an employer or an employer’s practices.

The CEC does not review or select candidates who apply for opportunities posted on the Careers Hub and is not responsible for doing so.

Job Listings

It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure job listings submitted to the CEC comply with all applicable state, territory and Commonwealth laws and regulations including, but not limited to, anti-discrimination laws, competition and consumer law, fair trading, privacy and human rights & equal opportunity acts.

Job listings must provide an adequate description of the nature of the work and any terms and conditions of employment specific to the role.

Any pay rates disclosed in a job listing must comply with current legislation and any applicable modern award and be equal to or higher than minimum wage. The CEC may request an employer provide details of the relevant Award.

Job listings for voluntary work, unpaid internships or work experience may be considered by the CEC. Job listings submitted for any type of unpaid work must comply with the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement and may be rejected if there is any reasonable concern that the position does not comply with applicable laws, regulations or Volunteering Australia guidelines.

Accepted job listings will be posted to the Careers Hub following full payment of the listing fee.

Job listings will remain on the Careers Hub for a period of 30 days.

The CEC reserves the right to refuse or withdraw a job listing for any reason. If a job listing is not accepted, the employer will be entitled to a refund of the listing fee less an administration fee.

No Liability

Except as permitted by law, the CEC does not accept any liability for the content of any advertisement or any error, omission or inaccuracy contained in a job listing posted on the Careers Hub. The CEC is not liable for any loss or damage caused by any error, omission or inaccuracy contained a job listing.

The CEC accepts no liability for any failure by an employer to comply with all laws that are applicable to job advertisements posted by them on the Careers Hub.

In the event of an employer notifying the CEC that a job listing contains an error, the CEC will make reasonable efforts to correct the error within a reasonable timeframe of being notified.

Jobs listed on the Careers Hub are subject to the CEC’s Website Terms of Use.
