2021 Call for speakers

The Clean Energy Council is calling all renewable energy experts to speak at our 2021 events.

These events are currently scheduled to be delivered as live events around the country. The Clean Energy Council will continue to closely monitor government and health agency advice in the leadup to these events and strictly follow COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety of all attendees.

Please note all of these events will incorporate a digital component to enable speakers and attendees who are not permitted to travel the opportunity to virtually attend.

To complete a submission, you will be required to provide:

  • contact information and headshot
  • abstract title
  • your presentation theme
  • a presenter bio (max 200 words)
  • abstract (max 250 words)
  • answer to - What are the key learnings for the audience from your presentation?
  • answer to - What is new and innovative about your presentation?
  • agree to terms and conditions.

Australian Clean Energy Summit

The Australian Clean Energy Summit is the peak gathering of leaders driving Australia’s energy transformation. The two-day conference is taking place in Sydney on 13-14 July brings together heads of industry, government and finance to share the models, trends and technology innovations in driving clean energy adoption.

The call for speakers is now open and closes Friday 29 January 2021.

Suitable topics to present on include:

  • international perspectives and global trends
  • energy technology and market outlooks
  • finance and investment
  • policy, smart regulation and the role for Government
  • future technologies
  • hydrogen and its derivatives (e.g. ammonia)
  • renewable energy exports
  • building and strengthening the grid

  • the role of the consumer
  • community and social licence to operate
  • digital divergence
  • electric vehicles
  • future market design
  • developing the workforce of the future
  • clean manufacturing in Australia and decarbonisation of industry
