Firmware / Software Safety Obligation

The Manufacturer/ Distributer of the equipment as listed in this application will communicate all firmware/software changes to the relevant testing institute in order for them to decide if the changes affect the safety of the equipment and whether re-testing and re-certification is required. The Manufacturer shall furnish this extra documentation to the CEC within seven working days of testing

Equipment Safety Failure

If the CEC receive evidence of continued product failure where the safety of people or property are at risk, the manufacturer or distributer will work with CEC, relevant testing and electrical authorities to ensure a resolution is addressed as a matter of urgency

Non-COmpliance

I understand that CEC retains the right to de-list a product that it deems to be non-compliant and retains the right not to list products due to insufficient or false documentation

Data Use

The CEC may provide information with respect to Importers/Authorised Suppliers, including contact information, with the Clean Energy Regulator and other Government regulators as required.
