Solar Month

In March 2023 the Clean Energy Council, in collaboration with industry, started an annual campaign to celebrate rooftop solar and storage and the work installers and retailers do in helping Australians reduce their energy bills and emissions. The theme for 2023's campaign was 'Join our Solar Superheroes'; encouraging Australians to maximise their solar superpowers with tips on buying, maintenance and energy saving.

Our 'Solar Superheroes' campaign reached millions of Australians

The theme for 2023's campaign was 'Join our Solar Superheroes'; encouraging Australians to maximise their solar superpowers in the fight against rising energy bills with tips on buying, maintenance and energy saving.

We hosted solar tips on solarmonth.com.au, shared good news solar stories with press and social media and promoted our campaign with digital ads. We encouraged installers and retailers to share their solar stories to our website, with local news and their customers and hosted resources from industry to help consumers fight their bills.

The campaign reached far and wide, helping encouraging millions of Australians to maximise their solar and reduce their energy bills.
