The system is not producing any power

The system is not producing the power promised at the point of contract.


My property has been damaged as a result of the solar installation
Damage that is caused as a result of recklessness or carelessness in the process of installation (e.g. the installer did not show due care and walked on the roof incorrectly) is not in the CEC’s jurisdiction. This is a civil matter and may need to be resolved in court. If the damage is due to technical non-compliance with the PV system (e.g. penetrations for cable not sealed correctly, brackets for tilt frames not connected), please attach evidence of this non-compliance.

The retailer engaged in misleading or deceptive conduct

The retailer has failed to get my solar system connected to the grid.


The system installed is different to what was specified in the contract


The Retailer has increased the cost of the system without my consent.


The retailer has not been responsive to my complaint

The retailer has failed to provide any post installation maintenance manuals or documentation

The retailer is not honoring their warranty



I am being charged more on a finance agreement than what I agreed to at the point of contract
