Service Target Incentive Performance Scheme submission

We agree that the market impact component (MIC) and network capability component (NCC) of the STPIS need to be reviewed. Submission on Unlocking CER Benefits Through Flexible Trading, Draft Determination

The Draft 2024 Integrated System Plan identifies that flexible energy will be a big part of the new, clean and affordable energy future. Specifically, AEMO predict the capacity of coordinated behind-the-meter storage will increase to 37 GW in 2049-50, of which they anticipate 80% will be orchestrated. To achieve this goal, we need to implement policy that encourages and empowers consumers to not only adopt storage, but to trust that market participants will provide simple and valuable orchestration services.

Renewable Projects Quarterly Report (Q4 2023)

2023 was a record-breaking year for storage in terms of MWs added (3,949), MWhs added (9,095), and capital investment ($4.9B). It was also a record-breaking quarter for storage in these same metrics, breaking all the records which had been set in Q2. However, 2023 was the lowest level of large-scale renewable energy generation capacity reaching financial commitment at 1.3GW.
