Policy and advocacy are a primary focus of the Clean Energy Council (CEC) in its mission to create conditions to stimulate investment in the development and deployment of the world's best renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.
To establish key policy positions, the Clean Energy Council (CEC) operates directorates comprising representatives from member organisations to advise on policy and industry development issues.

The Energy Storage Directorate is responsible for providing input to the CEC on key policy and regulatory matters in relation to energy storage, across the entire range of technologies and scales.
